Speaking of criticism, Kylian Mbappé has been facing it for weeks. Questioned for his inconsistent performances, the former PSG player now needs to prove he can carry Real Madrid.
Duluc raises questions for Mbappé

On L’Équipe TV channel on Monday, Vincent Duluc didn’t mince his words when expressing concern about Kylian Mbappé. Comparing the French captain’s career to that of La Pulga Messi, the French journalist expressed doubts about the likelihood of the Real Madrid forward ever securing the title.
“Mbappé will be 26 in December. At that age, Messi had already won four Ballon d’Ors. The France captain will soon have to wonder whether he’ll ever be Ballon d’Or winner,” he said. It’s a jab that will undoubtedly resonate in the mind of the former AS Monaco player. Seeing the season Vinicius Junior is now launching, Kylian will really need to step up and impose himself with strong performances if he wants to lead the way.
