Real Madrid coach since 2021, Carlo Ancelotti made a big revelation on Tuesday in front of the press. While some media outlets are reporting his departure at the end of the season, the Italian coach has revealed his secret plan with Florentino Pérez.

No. I want to be very clear. I will never decide to leave Real Madrid. That day will come, but it won’t be me who decides. It could be tomorrow or in 5 years. The plan is to stay here with Florentino for another 4 years and then say goodbye.“
Despite the criticism, Ancelotti trusts the general sentiment he feels. “Do I lack affection? I don’t think so. If we’re talking about affection, I feel very loved by everyone here. Sometimes, we might exaggerate a little and lose some focus, but I prefer to continue following my own path. Affection doesn’t bother me, but the goal remains to move forward,” added the 65-year-old coach.
Ancelotti truly set to stay at Madrid?
After the clear words from the former Milan AC player, the debate is reignited. While many support the idea that it would be unfair to sack the Italian coach, who has achieved exceptional feats since his arrival at the club, the idea of seeing him extend beyond 2026 is not universally appreciated.
