In a negative spiral since the start of the season, Carlo Ancelotti seems to have found the solution to turn things around. Speaking at a press conference on Friday, the Real Madrid coach explained the obvious problem he detected after the defeat to AC Milan.
Real Madrid have been in a bad way since the start of the season. Faced with a crisis of results, Carlo Ancelotti is being challenged in Madrid and his future is more in doubt than ever. Far from singling out Kylian Mbappe as the number one culprit, the Italian coach spoke about his defence and admitted that a solution has been found and will be tested tomorrow against Osasuna. ‘It’s not a problem of attacking position but of defence. I can’t wait to see tomorrow what we’ve been talking about this week. It’s a defensive problem (…) I don’t think this is the best place to talk about the problems we’ve had. We’ve lost and we need to do things differently. We think we’ve found the solution, but in practice we have to prove it. The team is aware of what’s going on,’ explained Carlo Ancelotti.
