Real Madrid failed to win against Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Saturday evening. After the 3-3 draw, Casa Blanca president Florentino Perez was full of praise for one of Carlo Ancelotti’s stars after his performance, which was judged to be XXL.
Real Madrid found themselves in trouble at Rayo Vallecano on Saturday evening. Trailing 2-0, Carlo Ancelotti’s men managed to equalise thanks to two fine goals from Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham, before Rodrygo Goes scored a gem for Real Madrid’s third.
Unfortunately, the home side again took advantage of Real Madrid’s defensive frailties to equalise at 3-3. Despite the introduction of the world’s best player, Vinicius Jr, the Casa Blanca club failed to score the goal that would have propelled them to the top of the league ahead of Barcelona’s opening game on Sunday evening.

Florentino Perez in love with Rodrygo Goes
The President of Real Madrid made the trip to Rayo Vallecano. Florentino Perez even watched the entire match in the dressing room alongside his Rayo counterpart. But despite the frustrating 3-3 result, Perez could not help savouring the return to form of Rodrygo Goes.
Long injured and often intermittent since the arrival of Kylian Mbappé, Rodrygo Goes seems to be losing importance at Real Madrid. It is clearly the Madrid striker whose performances are below what he used to show at Real Madrid.
According to Defensa Central, Florentino Perez visited the Real Madrid dressing room after the draw and spoke to Rodrygo Goes. The Real Madrid president reportedly expressed his gratitude for the Auriverde’s performance and even described it as ‘the best game I’ve seen you play this season’.

Ancelotti also congratulates Rodrygo
After the match, Carlo Ancelotti, who seemed satisfied with the 3-3 draw, also made a point of mentioning the remarkable performance of Rodrygo Goes. Although he struggled from the start, the Santos-trained player eventually found his feet and scored a fine goal.
We thought he could cause more problems on the left because of his change of position,’ he said. After a slightly complicated start, he found his rhythm and was back to his best when he scored the goal,’ Carlo Ancelotti told the press conference.
