Two camps are even taking shape in the dressing room.
There is the camp of unconditional support, which believes it is essential to continue giving him responsibility for penalties if he is to regain his confidence. The other camp is cautious and recommends that Mbappé should be temporarily sidelined from this exercise until he shows signs of revival.
Ancelotti backs Kylian Mbappé
Despite this period of turbulence, Carlo Ancelotti remains convinced of Kylian Mbappé’s abilities. The Italian coach, known for his exemplary people management, firmly believes that the former PSG player will return to his best once he has adapted to the Casa Blanca.
