Serhou Guirassy has a unique 65M€ release clause for Real Madrid and Barcelona, but the Spanish giants aren’t interested.
The 29-year-old striker, currently contracted with Borussia Dortmund until 2028, has a market value of 45 million euros according to Transfermarkt. However, his release clause is set at a staggering 100 million euros for most clubs. Interestingly, Guirassy negotiated a special clause allowing Real Madrid and Barcelona to sign him for just 65 million euros, as reported by BILD.
Real’s Current Focus
Despite this enticing offer, Real Madrid shows no interest in pursuing Guirassy. The club already boasts attacking talents like Kylian Mbappé, Gonzalo García, and Endrick. With their current focus on strengthening the midfield and defense, Guirassy doesn’t fit into their immediate plans.
The striker’s age could also be a deterrent for other top clubs considering a hefty investment. At 29, the return on investment might not justify the price tag. Meanwhile, Real Madrid continues to strategize for future signings that align with their long-term vision.
