Alexander-Arnold’s transfer price finally revealed
While Florentino Pérez’s club is closely monitoring this lead and is prepared to finalise the transfer for free in June if necessary, Liverpool is now open to a January move. To avoid losing their star without compensation, Liverpool’s management is seeking €50 million from Madrid, according to information from Defensa Central. Although this sum is rather substantial for a player whose contract ends in June, Real Madrid could simply negotiate a lower fee if they wish to bring Trent Alexander-Arnold in by January.
With the strong relationship between the two clubs’ management, Real Madrid is unlikely to turn down the English club’s offer, which aims to obtain a transfer fee. Given Lucas Vazquez’s performances, which have not been reassuring since Dani Carvajal’s injury, the arrival of the English international in January would greatly benefit Carlo Ancelotti’s team. In any case, €50 million remains within reach for the Madrilenians.
