Endrick is living his dream at Real Madrid. At the age of 18, he is rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in the game and learning something new every day. But the competition is tough. With just 3 starts in 23 games, he has to make the most of every minute on the pitch. His 5 goals in 400 minutes are proof of his potential. But is it enough to shake up the hierarchy? The Brazilian striker spoke out.

Endrick shares the dressing room with some phenomena. Mbappé, Vinicius and Rodrygo dominate the Madrid attack. Their presence limits his opportunities, but also provides him with an exceptional formation. In an interview with UOL Esporte at an event organised by EA FC, one of his sponsors, the Brazilian striker showed no signs of annoyance, but admitted that he needs to work harder to deserve to play. Endrick knows that he is still a long way from the level offered by the attacking trio of Vinicius Jr, Mbappé and Rodrygo: ‘It’s incredible to have them alongside me, but I need to improve to be at their level,’ he confides.

The former Palmeiras prodigy recognises the demands of European football. The intensity of the matches, the speed of execution, the combinations with his team-mates: everything is different. ‘Here, I learn new solutions every day,’ he stresses. His adaptation will be decisive for his future at Madrid. Real Madrid is unforgiving. ‘Being part of this club is an honour, but also a challenge,’ he admits. His figures remain promising, but patience is not a Madrid virtue. He will soon have to prove that he can be more than just a hopeful.

Can Endrick make his mark at Real Madrid?

The question remains open. His talent is obvious, but he has a long way to go. If he continues to progress and take his chances, he could well be the club’s next great goalscorer. But in a squad where the competition is fierce, nothing can be taken for granted. Despite his young age, Endrick shows impressive maturity. He knows that nothing will be handed to him. ‘You have to work every day, challenge yourself and listen to the advice of the more experienced players,’ he explains. This mentality could well make all the difference.

Carlo Ancelotti is watching closely. Endrick has to prove that he can live up to the Italian coach’s expectations. Just playing a few minutes isn’t enough. You have to score, create danger and put pressure on defences. His next few months will be decisive. The Madrid fans are expecting a lot. The pressure at the Santiago Bernabeu is immense. Endrick has to win the hearts of the fans with his performances. A goal in the Clasico, a Champions League success, and everything could be accelerated. If Endrick maintains his determination, he could become a key player for Real Madrid. His talent is real. He holds all the cards.
