Everything is going well for Real Madrid as the year comes to a close. After winning the Club World Cup final in Qatar, Carlo Ancelotti’s team is cruising against FC Sevilla. In the 18th round of Liga, the Merengues lead comfortably 2-0 since the 20th minute. Indeed, after a stunning goal from Kylian Mbappé, who unleashed a powerful shot in the 10th minute, Federico Valverde added his special. Known for his monstrous strikes, the Uruguayan midfielder didn’t hesitate to unleash a thunderous missile that found the back of the Sevilla net.
All is well for the Merengues, who are having a relatively easy evening. Temporarily, the team overtakes FC Barcelona and moves into second place in the standings with a game in hand (to be played on 3rd January against FC Valencia).
