Guti suggests Ramos for Madrid
Believing that this 38-year-old defender could bring experience and motivation to the team during a season already marred by heavy disappointments in just three months, Guti is unequivocal: “They have to go to the market. Sergio Ramos is without a club. He can play right-back and central defence. In this situation, of course I can see him fitting in, at zero cost. He played last year for Sevilla and performed well.”
This would indeed be a golden opportunity that could please Carlo Ancelotti and his staff. With the lack of leaders in the squad this season, as Karim Benzema highlighted a few days ago, Ramos’ return could be a fantastic story. We wait to see if Florentino Pérez will take the steps needed to make this story a reality. In any case, Real urgently needs one or more players.
