Real Madrid is struggling to take off with Kylian Mbappé. At the same time, Paris Saint-Germain, where the 25-year-old French star once played, is also struggling to make a good impression. In this tense context, Nasser Al-Khelaifi was asked about his former player. Interviewed by the Spanish daily Marca on various subjects, including the Super League proposed by Florentino Pérez, which he doesn’t want to see come to fruition, the Qatari PSG boss, who has recently been criticised by Jésé Rodríguez, showed a softer side towards Kylian Mbappé. Asked for his opinion on the 25-year-old striker’s situation, who has struggled to shine at Real Madrid, NAK simply wished him the best.
“As I’ve always said, I wish Kylian, and everyone who has played for our great club, the best,” said the boss of Paris Saint-Germain. These words of reassurance are unlikely to change much regarding the ongoing stand-off between the two parties.
