Real Madrid take on AC Milan at the Bernabeu tomorrow in the fourth round of the Champions League. Having played for both legendary clubs, Ricardo Kaka spoke to Milan TV about the clash. The Auriverde legend talked about the fixture, Carlo Ancelotti and Alvaro Morata, the Rossoneri striker who also played for Real Madrid.

After two wins and a defeat, Real Madrid will be hoping to make it 3/3 at home to AC Milan tomorrow. This match is a special one for Italian club legend Carlo Ancelotti, and the Real Madrid players are looking to make amends with their fans after the disastrous clásico at the Bernabeu. Having seen their trip to Valencia postponed after a tragic incident, Real Madrid have turned their attention to this clash with the Rossoneri.

In addition to Carlo Ancelotti, Brahim Diaz and Alvaro Morata, the Real Madrid-AC Milan clash has a special significance for Ricardo Kaka. A legend with the Italian club, with whom he won the 2007 Ballon d’Or, the Brazilian attacking midfielder went on to have a mixed spell with Real Madrid. And for this clash between the two most successful clubs in the Champions League, Kaka has come out of his silence. Interviewed by Milan TV, the 2002 world champion opened up about the match.

Kaka on the Real Madrid-AC Milan clash: ‘Playing in the Champions League is already something special. Then, playing against great teams is always a unique experience. Having the opportunity to play Real Madrid – Milan is a great experience for a footballer, and there are certainly a lot of reasons for it. Wearing the Rossoneri shirt must already be a great motivation, but playing against great teams like Real Madrid… That’s something different.

Kaka on Carlo Ancelotti: ‘Carlo Ancelotti? With all the history he has with Milan, both as a player and as a coach, I think it’s going to be an emotional game.’

Kaka on Alvaro Morata: ‘I’m very happy that he’s at Milan. He’s a great lad, and as a player, he’s a champion. What he did this summer with Spain, winning as captain… He can certainly bring a lot of good things to the team. He called me because he wanted to play with the number 22. I told him that the shirt wasn’t mine, but the team’s, and that he would certainly represent it well. But in the end, he decided to take another number. It was very kind of him to show such respect for the shirt I’ve played in all my career at Milan. I wish him all the best, may he win games and titles, and do something special for us Milan fans.’
