In a one-sided game, Real Madrid continued to crush Deportiva Minera. In the 55th minute, Luka Modric scored the Merengues’ fourth goal after a fine combination with Brahim Díaz.
Real Madrid once again showed their technical superiority against Deportiva Minera. Luka Modric was at the heart of it. After combining well with Brahim Díaz, the Real Madrid captain collected the ball on the edge of the area. The two players exchanged several quick passes to completely disorganise the opposition defence.
Brahim Díaz, always lively and technical, found Modric in an ideal position to shoot. Once in possession, Luka Modric opened his foot and curled his shot perfectly. The ball took a precise trajectory and sailed into the net, leaving the Deportiva Minera keeper without a chance. The goal was Real Madrid’s fourth of the match and confirmed the Merengues’ overwhelming dominance.
After scoring at Valencia last Friday, Modric found the net once again. Despite his age, the Croatian captain continues to show that he still has much to contribute to his team. His experience and vision are invaluable assets for Real Madrid.
