Rodrygo Goes could return earlier than expected. Injured on 9 November, the Brazilian forward resumed training this Monday.
The international break, often criticised, is a boon for some players, especially those from Real Madrid. Every time the internationals are called up to join their national teams, the club’s management holds its breath for fear of numerous injuries that may result. But this time, the international break brings joy to the Spanish capital. While the season is already over for Dani Carvajal and Éder Militão, some have seen their unavailability reduced thanks to faster rehabilitation.
An earlier return than expected

This is the case for Rodrygo Goes. The Brazilian forward, injured in Real’s last match against Osasuna (4-0), was seen training individually on the pitch at Valdebebas this Monday. Rodrygo can therefore hope to return to the field before the date initially indicated by the club’s medical staff.
While he was initially expected to be out for at least 6 weeks, which did not guarantee a return before 2025, Rodrygo’s recovery has accelerated. However, Carlo Ancelotti, always cautious, will play it safe. The Italian coach will take no risks, knowing the series of matches awaiting his team. Rodrygo was injured on 9 November, just two weeks after a first injury against Dortmund in the same area of his body.
What about the others?

Dani Carvajal and Éder Militão are already out for the rest of the season. But Carlo can soon hope to count on his other injured players. For example, Thibaut Courtois will be operational as soon as the international break ends, although his participation in the Champions League match against Liverpool is uncertain.
On the other hand, the news is rather reassuring for Lucas Vázquez. The medical team is confident about his recovery. A date has even been set as a target for his return at Anfield on 27 November. This means that Lucas Vázquez would only miss one match, against Leganés, scheduled for Sunday, 24 November.
