A few hours before the clash against AC Milan in the Champions League, Carlo Ancelotti has been given an update on one of his favourite attackers. Despite the desire to win the fourth-round match in the Champions League at the Bernabéu, caution must be exercised.
After a week without matches, Real Madrid will once again be in the spotlight. This Tuesday, at 20:00 (GMT), the Madrid side will face AC Milan with familiar faces like Álvaro Morata and Rafael Leão. Just hours before this crucial match for both teams, Carlo Ancelotti revealed the list of players who will represent Los Blancos. As announced earlier, Rodrygo Goes, a surprise return, is among those called up.
An early return that requires caution

Injured in the final moments of the match against Borussia Dortmund on 22 October (5-2), the player who left a bitter memory for Nuri Sahin was initially ruled out until after the upcoming FIFA international break. Against all odds, Rodrygo Goes recovered quickly. Eager to get back to action, the 23-year-old forward, whose absence was felt in the Clasico (lost 4-0 by Real Madrid), worked extensively to be included in the squad for the AC Milan match this Tuesday.
While this return is good news for Madrid fans, given the work rate of the Brazilian player, the club’s doctors are urging caution! According to Defensa Central, the medical team has set a limit for Rodrygo Goes this Tuesday. The latest reports suggest that the forward from Osasco (Brazil) “cannot play more than 30 to 35 minutes, which isn’t ideal following a muscular injury.”
Rodrygo likely to start on the bench

As with all muscle injuries previously sustained by the former Santos player, prolonged physical effort is not recommended straight after returning to high-level competition. Recently, Kylian Mbappé, who suffered a thigh strain, returned to play earlier than expected but performed below his usual standard. Given the situation, Rodrygo’s place in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting eleven this Tuesday remains uncertain.
Barring surprises, Real Madrid are expected to start the game in a 4-4-2 formation with Mbappé, whose defensive efforts have been questioned, and Vinicius Junior, coming off an eventful week. Fans are eager to see what the two Madrid star forwards will bring… Perhaps Rodrygo will come on in the second half to help turn the game around.
