Here’s some news that will undoubtedly lift Kylian Mbappé’s spirits. In a dispute with PSG over unpaid bonuses and salary, the Real Madrid striker is set to win his case, as reported by the newspaper L’Équipe.
Having left Paris Saint-Germain under tense circumstances, Kylian Mbappé is doing everything he can to recover every cent stipulated in his contract from the past two years. He is claiming €55 million in unpaid salary and bonuses, which the Parisian management refuses to pay due to the abrupt and tumultuous separation between the two parties. The LFP’s legal commission is expected to make its official ruling this Friday.
Mbappé’s expected victory

Following a complaint filed by the French striker’s camp, the commissioner, who heard both sides of the dispute a few days ago, is likely to rule in the player’s favour, according to L’Équipe on Thursday evening. According to sources, the joint appeal commission of the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), after reviewing the various aspects of this financial dispute, believes that Kylian Mbappé is within his rights. As a result, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and PSG will have to pay the €55 million to the Real Madrid player.
While this is good news for the Bondy-born star, who had rejected the dialogue proposed by the LFP, Paris Saint-Germain is unlikely to back down. After the official ruling expected this Friday, the capital club could lodge a further appeal with the higher appeals commission, which falls under the jurisdiction of the French Football Federation.
If the decision goes against PSG again, the club may take the matter to the administrative court, with mediation before the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF). At the same time, Kylian Mbappé could also escalate the matter to UEFA or the employment tribunal to resolve this ongoing dispute, which is unlikely to end soon—unless PSG opts to settle the matter by paying the €55 million owed to the 25-year-old player.
