Real Madrid remains the greatest in the world. Trained and having played for the club currently led by Florentino Pérez, Jésé Rodríguez, who experienced hell at PSG, has just revealed some hard truths. He also criticises Kylian Mbappé’s former club.
Like Sergio Ramos, Nicolas Anelka, and Marco Asensio, Jésé Rodríguez is among the players who left Real Madrid for Paris Saint-Germain. Often motivated by the financial benefits offered by the Parisian club, they ended up having disappointing experiences. Eight years after his departure from the Spanish capital to PSG, Jésé has let it all out. Speaking to YouTuber Mowlihawk, the player who scored 18 goals in 94 appearances for Real Madrid (2012-2016) did not hide his regrets after leaving for Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s club.
“Madrid is the best in the world at everything”

Mistreated at Kylian Mbappé’s former club, Jésé Rodríguez did not mince words before declaring Real Madrid as the best club in the world. “If I had wanted to, I would have stayed in Madrid, but the PSG option came up. (…) They improved my contract and paid me much more compared to Madrid, where we were paid every six months. They paid very well. I earned just under five million euros gross,” he initially stated on the podcast.
Later, the former Spanish international, who now plays in Malaysia at 31, completely vented about Nasser Al-Khelaifi, one of the most criticised sports directors in the world. “The PSG president didn’t even want to see me anymore. I don’t know if he liked my wife more than me. They gave me no explanation. They treated me very badly. That’s when I realised that Madrid is the best in the world at everything. I felt like I was dealing with a billionaire who treats players as if they were pawns.“
This is a big admission that will certainly resonate with Madridistas who remain loyal to their model. With a very strict president who ensures players are in the best possible conditions to perform as they should, Real Madrid continues to soar as one, if not the best, club in the world. The team, including Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, and even Kylian Mbappé, is in the best position to shine in football.
