According to the latest information, the Barça doctor, who was just 40 years old, passed away in his sleep after taking a nap following a lunch shared with the first team. Moments after the tragic news, the Madrid board swiftly reacted. In an official statement on their website, Real Madrid shared in the pain of the Catalans. “Real Madrid CF, its president, and the Board of Directors deeply regret the passing of FC Barcelona’s doctor, Carles Miñarro García. Real Madrid would like to express its condolences and affection to his entire family, teammates, FC Barcelona, and all his loved ones,” the statement reads.
