After his last match of 2024 with Real Madrid last Sunday, Aurélien Tchouaméni headed to Africa, where he will spend some time in Cameroon. Before the new year, the French international has clear goals in mind.
Like last July, Aurélien Tchouaméni decided to spend some precious time on the land of his ancestors. An undisputed key player for Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid, the 24-year-old arrived in Cameroon last night after the 18th matchday of La Liga against FC Sevilla on Sunday. Welcomed by family members and representatives of his foundation, the French international, who remains deeply attached to his parents’ homeland, plans to carry out meaningful projects before the new year.
During his stay, the man who pushed Raul and Asensio to the bench after Eder Militao’s injury plans to take part in several charitable initiatives. These include donations to local schools, meetings with young football talents, and actions in favour of access to education and healthcare in the land of the Indomitable Lions.
Unlike several Madrid players who have travelled to exotic destinations to enjoy a few days of rest before the new year, Aurélien Tchouaméni will let his heart speak in Cameroon. It is worth noting that this trip is part of his Prosperi foundation, which mainly operates in the Central African country where he has his roots.
Arriving on Monday evening, the Madrid star is expected to accelerate his charitable efforts before heading back to Madrid, where the team will return to training on December 30th.
